Right-click context menus allow rapid access to various file manipulation options, while handy drag-and-drop functionality will allow you to upload new files from your computer in no time. You will also find integrated file editors and an image viewer. You will be able to compress and uncompress files effortlessly as well.
Fast File Uploads and Downloads
Working with the File Manager feels like working with your desktop PC. The in-built drag & drop functionality will enable you to easily move files between your computer and the hosting server. Simply select the file that you would like to upload from your desktop PC and then drag it into your browser. The same applies to downloading a file from the File Manager to your disk drive. Furthermore, you can download files and even folders to your desktop computer by pressing the Download button.
Easy File Editing Options
With the File Manager, you can create a brand new file or folder with just a mouse click. All action buttons are conveniently positioned above the file/folder list and you can update your files effortlessly. You can rename or copy a file, move a file to another folder, explore the contents of a file or edit its permissions, delete a file, etc.
Handy Archive/Unarchive Functionality
With the File Manager interface, you will be able to archive and unzip all types of files. It works stunningly fast - simply select the files you wish to make a compressed archive of and push the Compress button. You can even select the archive format (.rar, .zip, and so on). It is just as easy to extract the contents of an archive to a chosen directory.
File Editors
With the File Manager, you actually do not need any third-party software in order to modify your files. There is an image viewer, which allows you to view the contents of your image files to get a clue about how the images will in fact show up on the World Wide Web. Also, you will find an array of integrated file editors, which will grant you total control over your files. The plain text editor and the code editor are designed for more advanced users, while the WYSIWYG editor (where you can see all HTML code changes in real time) is also suitable for non-tech-savvy individuals.
